Asustek Computer has decided to rush forward plans to launch a 10-inch version Eee PC, because of the expected launch of competitors like the MSI Wind.
The new 10-inch Eee PC will probably named the Eee PC 1000 & will be launched on June the 3rd along with the Eee PC 901, according to insiders. Sadly no price is mentioned yet.
Asustek is gearing upwards to new contenders at the mini Laptop market like the new MSI Wind Laptop & the 9 inch Acer Aspire mini Laptop.
Asustek is also preparing lower priced versions of current models, which will probably also be announced on June the 3rd.
