Dual Core Shenzen Weibu Netbook

The first Netbook with a dual-core Atom 330 processor will soon hit the market, because Shenzhen Weibu Electronics will release their N10A Netbook which features this powerful processor.

Dual Core Shenzen Weibu Netbook

The Shenzhen Weibu Netbook features a dual-core Atom 330 processor & Nvidia 9400M "Ion" graphics. This graphic chipset is also used in Apple MacBooks, the Akiba PC Hotline site reports.

The power consumption of this processor is quite low, at 8 watts, compared with mainstream Intel laptop chips, which typically are rated at 25 watts or higher.

This powerfull Netbook will come with 1 GB memory pre-installed, a 150GB hard disk drive, 802.11 G/B WiFi & a Webcam. It comes with no Operating System pre-installed(!)

The "N10A" Netbook from Shenzen Weibu is expected to go on sale for 49,800 yen (about 356 Euro/$530 USD) No exact release date is mentioned, only "soon".
