Eee PC

ASUS Taiwan is rolling out an SSD upgrade program for it’s Eee PC 901 series with SSD drives fitted.

SSD

Taiwanese owners of an Eee PC 901 with SSD fitted can pay TW$1500 (33 Euro/US$43) & have their SSD drive upgraded to the next highest capacity.

For example: 4GB > 16GB, 12GB > 24GB, or 16GB > 32GB.

Customers have to take it to a local ASUS service center to carry this out, according to Portablemonkey.com. The 3G WWAN model is excluded from this offer.

It's not clear yet if this offer will be available worldwide.
