Wired Video

On the Gadget Lab site of Wired Magazine there was a tutorial for installing Apple OS X on an MSI Wind netbook (Hackintosh). Apple was not amused & did contact the Wired Magazine officials & they did remove the video.

The video was showing a MSI Wind running a hacked version of OS X, which isn't legal according to the Apple licence. Wired’s editor Brian Chen admits that it is very convenient to download an illegal copy of the operating system from Pirate Bay (a torrent site) to install OS X. According to Brian Chen “it would be very polite to have your own purchased retail version.”

Gizmodo still has the video online though...
