The gOS (”good OS”) project released SP1 of gOS 3.1 Gadgets. The Linux based gOS is an excellent Operating System for Netbooks & NetTops.
This latest gOS release contains a lot of package updates, bug fixes & configuration enhancements. gOS makes heavy used of Google’s web-based applications, like Gmail & Google Finance.
gOS 3.1 Gadgets is built from the Linux based Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron), with a modified theme & desktop gadgets that open up applications within Mozilla Prism windows when clicked. According to the people of the gOS project, users can select desktop gadgets from a huge online repository of 100,000 Google Gadgets.
