HSUPA

ASUS announced that it will be adding HSUPA (3.75G) connectivity to its series of Eee PC netbooks.

HSUPA

This adds high-speed access to the Internet anytime, anywhere. No longer bound to Internet hotspots, 3.75G-equipped Eee PC users will be able to enjoy low latency mobile broadband Internet access at high downlink & uplink speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps & 2 Mbps respectively, regardless of where they are—ensuring a seamless connected experience on the go, according to the press release of ASUS.

HSUPA will make its 1st appearance in Eee PC 901 netbooks released to market from October 2008 onward.
