Although Xandros Linux, or Windows XP run smoothly on the Eee PC 901, some people want to try something different... One user was brave enough to install the resource-hungry Windows Vista onto his Eee PC 901.
Jkkmobile installed Windows Vista (Ultimate Edition) on his Eee PC 901. He did use the drivers available at the Asus support web site, although the graphics drivers provided by ASUS don't support the Aero interface of Vista, he did find a suitable driver & could run the Aero interface. As you can see on the picture the Eee PC 901 gives a descent performance rating.
