The Gdium mini-laptop from French Emtec enters the popular Eee PC mini-laptop market.
Gdium includes a 10-inch LCD screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution, fit for surfing the web without horizontal scrolling. The Gdium is equipped with an extended keyboard, whose dimension makes it comfortable to work long hours & weighs approximately 1,1kg.
An unique feature is the GKEY, a Linux “bootable” USB key, that fires up the Gdium and stores all your personal information.
The mini-laptop runs on the Mandriva G-Linux Linux distro & offers many applications like, Open Office, Firefox, ThunderBird, ClamAv, Spam Assassin & Gimp.
