Dell is also entering the Eee PC market with their "E-line" (original name...) with several mini-laptops.
A 8.9-inch mini-laptop, comparable to the Eee 900 will be released together with a 12.1-inch "E Slim" which looks more as a MacBook competitor, which is also very thin at 0.8-inches. Both laptops will be available in different versions.
These mini-laptops will have the so-called BlackTop OS installed, which is a dedicated Linux distro.
The cheapest Dell E is expected to be sold at $299.
