Easy Peasy (netbook optimized Ubuntu Linux) which was released a few weeks ago will have a few nice new features in the upcoming 2.0 release, according to developer Jon Ramvi.
This 2.0 release will be based on Ubuntu 9.04.
Here's a list of the new features:
Better looking
More net / netbook features
New file system which brings faster booting, loading and work flow
A whole new notification system
A simple new menu which can be used to set preferences for notification icons, such as where they pop up on the taskbar
File synchronization through Dropbox

According to the Easy Peasy team it will be released "sometime after April".
