Good OS LLC has released a preview of the latest iteration of their web-centric Linux Netbook distribution, gOS 3 Gadgets BETA.
gOS 3 Gadgets BETA is a lightweight release based on Ubuntu 8.04 & the lightweight LXDE window manager (based on OpenBox) This Linux distribution is optimized for use on Netbooks like the Eee PC & the upcoming Sylvania g Netbook MESO, which will probably have this gOS 3 Linux installed.
The beta shows Gadgets, after Google’s Gadgets, due to its tight integration with Google’s various web-based applications. WINE 1.0 is also included, so you can run Windows applications.
